I started out with bikes later in life than most. I did not grow up riding dirt bikes like many but in my mid twenties decided that I “needed” a street bike for some cheap transportation. After riding for a few years I left the motorcycle world in search of other adventures but in my early 40’s after battling through some serious health issues I decided it was time for me to get back in the saddle, since you only live once. I went and bought my beloved Betty (07 Versys) and instantly knew I would never be without a motorcycle again. Since then I have put on thousands of kms and thoroughly enjoy not only the spirit of riding but also the great community of riders I get to meet and be a part of every day. Last fall I purchased Veronica, a 2013 Victory Vegas that I am looking forward to riding a lot this season.

I’ve been riding in some form or another since I was a teen - and like many of you I enjoy my time on the road like no other… You will usually find me alone on any given day - while i like to ride with a friend or two I enjoy the solitude of short trips or even long long trips. This is usually cause I enjoy stopping anytime the mood strikes me for a pic or two & you will see by my pics I enjoy posting on my IG or the Ridin’ AB Facebook group. I currently ride a 2020 Harley Street-glide & before that a 2009 Night Train for many years… I don’t care what ya ride as long as ya do - and I’m all about 0 drama :)

My love for Motorcycles and riding started at age 3 when Mum and Dad’s friend Pumpkin Pete took me on my first ride on his orange 1975 HD Sporty. From dirt biking in the back-country and street riding in golf-ball sized hail storms, I don’t remember a time when there wasn’t motorcycles around. In my late thirties I got tired of riding passenger or strictly off-road and took the Too Cool Motorcycle School beginner’s course. It has been 9 years riding solo now and I’d not give it up for the world. I mostly ride alone, though I have enjoyed some duo rides and small group rides. I recently sold my 2011 Honda Aero 750 and am in the market for a new ride, leaning towards the Honda VTX 1800 for some real power on the open road.

My love for 2 wheels started at a very young age. I was 5, it was the day I looked back and saw my dad a block back cheering at me because I had just ridden all by myself without training wheels for the first time, I still have that bike, just could never get rid of her.

From there I’ve been sponsored for bmx freestyle as a teenager, rode dirt bikes & quads since I was in my mid teens and then progressed to street bikes. It’s a love affair on 2 wheels that has me for life ✌️

Ride safe my friends, have a blast and take it all in seeing as many new cool places as you can.
