Grand Valley and Horse Creek Loop

Route Details: Need a mid week ride to clear your head? This is a great route just NW of Cochrane that you can hit after work for some fresh country air but gets you back in time for supper.

Just onside of Cochrane lies some great paved backroads within two valleys that run parallel to each other making for a really nice loop to ride on an evening during a busy week or on a Sunday when you are getting a late start but still need to get out on your bike. Neither road sees too much traffic and have a few nice twisty sections to give the ride a little more excitement. You can find some really good food in Cochrane on your return trip or possibly before doing the loop when daylight lasts late into the mid summer evenings.

Highlights: Grand Valley

Local Businesses: Cabeza Grande, Texas Gate/Rockyview Hotel
